All roads lead to Rome, and my journey as a cartographer has finally led me here as well. This is easily my most intensive project to date - a labor of love that spanned over a year of work and research. My goal was to condense 1,000 years of Ancient Rome’s rich history onto a single, detailed piece of paper that is as accurate as it is beautiful.
I’ve color-coded the known structures of the city to help you navigate its evolution. Buildings from the Roman Republic are marked in shades of red, while the grandeur of the Empire is captured in shades of purple and yellow. From the winding Tiber to the shadows of the Colosseum, every corner of the Eternal City is represented.
The map measures 44 cm x 30 cm (17.5 inches x 11.5 inches)
The map is printed in high quality, 300 G.S.M. paper, and then laminated.
